When I tried it at last time, just the GT_TEXT* -modes displayed something
on the screen. On the other modes the screen was blank, but I got no
segfault.

Yes, it works for me. I tested it some times ago using the X-target.
But I don't know, if it works for you.

  * Andy's and my LibGPF library. I hope Andy get some time soon to
    continue our work...
