O.K. - so you don't do any screen-switching with Set*Frame - right ?

Hmm - this should never flicker. What does flicker - only the changing
parts or the whole screen ?

*Hehe* ... does that mean, it doesn't flicker when run in X ?
That usually hints at some Set*Frame problem, as that is emulated by copying
the "right" screen to the front in X.
