by the way, for those who don't know, i should mention that worldforge was
a clone of ultima online, which now has more aggressive goals then the
ultima series.

i've been trying to get multi-monitor support working under Xfree86 since 1994
(was it called xfree then?) or so, but i've never gotten anything other then
a mono card + a vga card working with the vga16 server. (i.e. unusuable).
i've heard that xfree86 4.0 has some new support, but haven't investigated it.
