OK, so I have the go-ahead to put up an anoncvs service
at work, And I have set the software up to do just that.
Even when/if we do the SourceForge thing it will be good
to have a faster/redundant server.
What is the best way to go about the mirror end of the
process?
Could someone who's run a GGI CVS mirror at some point
write me PM?
P.S. It boggles my mind that CVS hasn't this capability built-in.
A "relay" mode would make much sense. The CVS folks might be
source tree gurus, I don't know, but the server really blows
chunks from an administrative perspective, right down to keeping
the docs in info format :-P. Some of them have obviously tried
to fix it here and there to make it sane (kudos to the LockDir
directive), but it's a real beast.
