it depends on your display target;

for a framebuffer it's straightforward.  keep the entire screen in
memory M; everytime the (mouse?)cursor position changes you do this:

1)  restore background on previous mouse position using M
2)  draw the mousecursor

for other targets it's less fun.

afaik it doesn't.

there was some talk about this 2 years ago iirc, but i've never seen
it.  i'm not entirely sure but i think this could be integrated with a
sprite library.  for hardware mouse cursors this may be hackish.

i'd be interested to help out on a sprite library; who else is
interested?
