I don't think there's anything stopping both X and Xlib from using the X pointer -- in the X target, any flush of the virtual framebuffer to the Xserver will cause the pointer to hide/unhide. I don't know, maybe the DGA stuff gets in the way of that... Xlib would be easier in any case though, you're right. -- Brian
