Moving the overlay feature type into the structure, so it doesn't have
to be a parameter.

I didn't do any real work :-) just ten minutes entering EHelper commands.
I figured giving you that EHelper script would make it easier for you
to change stuff if you decided to. If you're careful not to alter
the EHelper tags, it will also let you add new target skeletons really
easily.
Since you are in the early ALPHA stages, don't hesitate to rework the
API even after a few releases if you think of something that should
be done differently/better. My wood shop teacher taught me two important
lessons in high school. The first was "measure twice, cut once". You
just did that part by spending a good amount of time asking for
suggestions on the list. The second lesson was that no matter how
carefully you plane a peice of wood, you'll always get a better result
if you plane it twice at half the depth.
