Yep. Problem is that in the current FreeBSD ports distribution there
is still no vgl support (the version is just one below the one where
vgl got in).
I switched to FreeBSD a few days ago just to look at it, it turns out
it is a hell of a good OS. It is noticeably faster than Linux in my
computer, boots in 1/3 of the time it takes Linux to boot, and is
stable as it gets. From what I've seen so far, it seems an excellent
platform for GGI, free from Linus' "X is all there is" attitude. It
would be probably a much friendlier/receptive place for you guys.
Anyway, I hope dviv works on it some day, so I can finish my thesis on
the console...
