We have to agree that no major changes or new features should occur until
the 2.0 final week. I think the figure of 2 weeks for us to collect
bug reports and fix them was thrown out between 2.0beta4 and 2.0final,
everyone cool with that?
Then we have to apply the release tags, and then either generate a snapshot
right then, or nobody commit anything to CVS until the nightly snap is taken.
Just tested again on my system and everything compiles and installs again.
(words cannot express our gratitude for taking the build system under your
wing.) I'm happy to see the release tag go in ASAP.
