OK, so last time I said this, Stefan said something I couldn't quite
understand what he meant, and someone else agreed with him, though I
have no idea how *they* understood what he meant, so here goes...
IMHO: Committing build system and doc fixes to CVS is exactly what we
*should* be doing right now. By codefreeze, we mean no reworking
the architecture, adding new targets/API/features, etc. Fixing things
is the whole point of having a freeze. So IMHO, Thayne should commit
fixes for anything short of an overhaul of the build system as long as
they don't break things, without having to ask, right?
Now, if someone has a difference with MHO, could they please actually
explain it?
