FreeBSD folk should verify, if it builds/works as expected
3. build environment:

verify if cross-compiling works as expected
4. documentation:
--------------
libgii/doc/inputs.txt - It's missing vgl- and DirectX-description
read and verify available documentation, if it is correct and
non-misunderstandable.
