The best check is to look for a directory /usr/src/DirectFB, since it does
not matter is DirecFB is installed, you must have the DFB sources to build
this.

It would also be nice if the user could supply an alternative path to
look for the sources at the configure commandline.

In addition there is an internal hard-coded value that should be 
detected or overridden by the user, which is the directory in 
which the DirectFB driver modules are installed.
