Well, sorry for bothering everyone on this but... it seems setting a linear LUT for the ramdac palette helps a lot... It was not 3D problem (16bpp is palettized in fact - I had forgotten that.)
Still, I'd be happy to have some "standard" 3D test programs and models. Rodolphe
