I'm in a similar position myself. We'v just got a new domain
at netsol, 'fresco.org'. (yes, we are going to rename berlin
to fresco in the coming weeks). The domain fresco.org existed,
but I only got the domain two weeks ago. Now I tried to transfer it
to gandi. This was refused by netsol, apparently because the
domain needs to exist for at least 60 days. They probably mean
by this the domain needs to be owned by the current owner for at
least 60 days.
I'll have to retry the move in two months again.
And in case anybody cares, we are using zoneedit.net to manage
our DNS...
