Jack, we must tell you, that you are the _first_ guy, who ever tried to get GGI running under Mac OS. So this is a very new area for us as well. We have the Unix knowledge you lack of, and you have the Mac OS/PPC knowledge we need. :) Therefore, please give us as much information about your system as you can (both software and hardware). And thus, libggi has no target to for Mac OS to draw something on the screen. But that doesn't mean, that it is impossible to get running. For example, I know of an existance of a X-server for Mac OS X. It is called XDarwin. Once you get it running on your system, then you can use libggi's X-target, which should work.
