Hello all, I used the ebuild for ghdl 0.24 and it worked with a few tweaks, (setting ADAC=gnatgcc and manually copying the ghdl executable to /usr/lib)
i.e. not a ghdl problem! Sorry for the inconvenience! Best regards, anders 2006/10/2, KIMURA Masaru / hiyuh <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

Sorry for my silly English skill. > I have read most of the patches. It seems to be only related to gentoo > packaging. Maybe. But this thread started due to Anders's issue on Gentoo/AMD64. I think this ebuild manage Gentoo/AMD64 specific things, e.g. multilib and --host/--target/--build options or so. So, I thought it could help his issue. > Did I miss one patch ? Maybe no. Now, my recent submitted ebuild uses only 1 patch which makes ${ADAC} = gnatgcc in gcc/vhdl/Makefile.in. It was mentioned by Emmanuel's suggetion. > Do you expected to have the packaging file in ghdl distribution ? No. If you think these patches (were filed at this bug report) are only Gentoo specific, please reject without hesitating. In my humble opnion, any distribution specific patches should not be merged upstream. I'll follow your GHDL development direction.
