Hi this is a interesting question, I do not know Corba and all other used tools.
The stupiedest question: It is not possible to built objectfiles. like ghdl -a *.vhd and link it together in icarus? Both tools use gcc as compiler. Icarus has also a PLI interface. Why is such simple solution not possible? I do not need mathlab or modelsim. Only mixed simulation VHDL and verilog. GHDL meets icarus. ;-> René Am Freitag, den 22.01.2010, 16:57 -0500 schrieb Pascal Giard: > On Fri, Jan 22, 2010 at 4:29 PM, Bill Toner <[email protected]> wrote: > > In pondering how one might approach a mixed-language simulation with FOSS > > tools, I recently noticed that Icarus can compile the verilog input and > > export it to VHDL.
