Hi Thomas,
I'm sorry but I'm not an expert on Visual Studio hotfixes. I think
the best way to receive support on this issue is to ask the question to the
Visual Studio forums:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/visualstudio
Regarding the question about precompiled headers (PCH), there's not
an option to disable all PCHs in CSnake. However, you can disable these
independently for each component. For example, if you open the file
csnMITKPlugin.py, you will find this line:
mitkPlugin.SetPrecompiledHeader("MITKPluginPCH.h")
If you comment this line, the precompiled headers will not be
enabled for MITKPlugin.
Best regards,
Xavi

Hi Xavier,
after having a small update orgy here I now have the most up-to-date version
of VS2010. I installed every of your additionaly listed hotfixes. Only
KB2542054 does not show up in the list of the 'about'
screen, but claimed to install fine anyhow. Alas, the problem still
persists.
Do you know which specific hotfix adresses the issue with the invalid c
runtime calls?
As additional info, the problem with error --1073740777 appears at
\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Platforms\x64\Microsoft.Cpp.x64.Targets(63,5)...
in the targets file, this describes the build settings for precompiled
headers.
Is there a way to switch these off in CSnake? Sadly, i cannot influence the
cmake files..
Regards,
Thomas
