I've just (95%) finished a plugin that does simple batch processing - in particular, it allows you to resize and colour a whole bunch of images. I'm hoping that this will save some people from having to learn ImageMagick for simple batch jobs. If some developers would like to test it before I announce it on the Gimp-Users list, it's at
