The healing brush is now available on GIMP CVS. Its in the soc-2006-healing-brush branch. Please test it out and report any bugs, faults, compliments, etc.
Right now one of the remaining issues is implementing support for "Sample merged" ( i.e., healing using a projection). If you have any comments on that let me know.
