If you use GIMP under OS X, I am quite satisfied with "GIMP 2.8 T-ish Brushed Metal Aqua Theme", version 06/15/2012, downloaded from http://thegimp.ca/category/gimp-themes/ . You will find there other themes; if you don't like them, look under gmome.org .
