i did find an unknown device in the windows device manager and disabled it. then i restarted and got into bios. there was nothing suspicious there: no floppy no other thing. boot devices were ok (1st was usb; 2nd was hdd; 3rd was network i think; 4th floppy and 5th was something else. So i put floppy last. but I don't think it matters).
