Hi there,
as I'd like to create mpeg2 still frames with mpeg2encode from pictures I've
created in Gimp. The only way I was able to do this at the moment was to
export ppm files an to use these files with mpeg2encode. Although it is
mentioned in the description of netpbm (man ppm), saving ppm's in ASCII format
writes only 256 colour ppm's from 24 bit graphics...
Is there
a) a possibility to write ppm's with more than 8 bit?
b) a way to export yuv's or so in 24 bit?
c) perhaps a direct way to create mpeg2 still frames?
Regards
Steve
