If you are not intending to do any development, you can strip you binaries and
libraries, as well. [eg 'strip /usr/lib/*; strip /usr/bin/*']. This will save
quite a bit of disk space. Be warned, however: if you strip libraries [eg libc]
you will not be able to link software against them, or compile stuff.
