For some unknown reason whenever I do a git pull, it just hangs.
Nothing happens. I have tried to remove all the files, do a git init,
then try to git pull again but no luck.
I am at a loss for what happened or any ideas how to fix it.
Anyone care to help a frustrated "gitter"?

What version of git, and what OS (Git for WIndows, Cygwin, Mac, etc.) are you on.?

In some cases (on Git for Windows) there can be a deadlock on some fetches (see the issues list) but it's source hasn't been sorted.

The problem may still be elsewhere, perhaps SSL certificate setups?
