Thanks for the article. I learned about stash options, which I had overlooked.

Regarding the fallback, it might be this: when running noscript with
javascript blocked, after clicking the link I see a unstyled page of
the links listed below. The second one from the top is the one you
mention. If I click on it, I see the blog content just fine. But
there's nothing there to guide the user that this is the thing to do,
the useful link is lost among all the other who-knows-what-they-are
choices.
