I'm using the Colemak keyboard layout, with a portable keyboard layout application (http://colemak.com/wiki/index.php?title=Windows) that maps the keys. This works fine for me. But some keys are remapped when using Git Bash. They're not mapped for Colemak, neither for Qwerty.
For example, when I try to type a colon, I normally press shift+P. But Git Bash gives me a > (greater than) character instead. I know in some core Windows screens (like when setting the PATH) that the Colemak keyboard mappings are ignored and Qwerty is the layout, but Git Bash uses its own third variant.
