You should do the following: ```sh git remote add upstream https://github.com/apache/activemq-artemis.git git fetch upstream git checkout upstream/master -B new-master git cherry-pick 2.6.x # add any other commits you have here, I'm using 2.6.x will have your last and only commit git checkout -B 2.6.x git push origin 2.6.x -f ``` As it stands this is a complete mess and I don't know how to look on this.
