When Geany was started Julia wasn't even a gleam in Jeffs eye.  To contribute 
to projects you need to learn the languages they use, wishing it was something 
else won't get you anywhere.  And if you don't know C/C++ well, how do you know 
you don't like them?

I guess its possible, but not the focus of Julia, notice it uses things like 
Juypter and Atom, not its own editor.
