b4n left a comment (geany/geany#4455) @eht16 I guess because we really don't need it but for filtering, as any unknown extension will fallback to filetype None anyway. Easiest would be if we can map it to None directly, or indeed create a *Plain text* or similar filetype for it. But it might be annoying for it to be separate from the None one, in which case maybe we should modify the None one, or make the fallback a real filetype -- but that would require auditing the impact it would have.
