Really feel that this could be easier for users to understand with `Ctrl` being the more commonly used naming on most keyboards I would imagine.
I think I know what you mean, I have been told / have seen other GTK based applications generate shortcut text files with extensions such as `.scm` where these text files use/show the same naming seen in Geany Example: `"<Primary><Shift>w"` However those other GTK based applications I have seen have figured out a way to use `Ctrl` naming in their custom keybinding GUI windows. You mentioned above "But we cannot easily change this name as it is provided" so I will leave it up to you and or other developers to make the decision if this should be closed. Not sure if any other developers know of an easy way that this could be changed? Again if not can close.
