Nope: ARROW_USER_SIMD_LEVEL=NONE python -c 'import pyarrow' does not work. Neither does export ARROW_USER_SIMD_LEVEL=NONE python -c 'import pyarrow' I am struggling to try to build pyarrow from source, but so far, it is impossible to use pyarrow at all on my several of my systems.
