Hi @alamb, @tustvold, @thinkharderdev and @andygrove, an initial prototype of the data source cache layer for Ballista has almost been implemented https://github.com/yahoNanJing/arrow-ballista/tree/dev-20230302. From now on, I will continuously reorganize the code and contribute back to the community. To achieve this, we need to apply a few changes to the datafusion and arrow-rs.
