This issue was almost fixed in [flatbuffers#8061](https://github.com/google/flatbuffers/pull/8061) However the highlighted variable here: <img width="1092" alt="image" src="https://github.com/apache/arrow/assets/8648152/b73d9b42-1195-49f8-84cf-e623e65417c9";> is never `True` as far as I can tell in that code. When `allowReadingUnalignedBuffers` is replaced with `True` that fixes the problem -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
