I've been running into this issue on my M2 Mac as well when I use renv, and
have been using 13.0.0.1 for the time being. Just wanted to confirm that I was
able to install and use 14.0.0.2 using CRAN. In the console I ran:
```renv::install("arrow", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/";, rebuild =
TRUE)```
and the package loaded normally afterwards.
