To have `_dataset.pyx` built you need to follow these instructions: https://arrow.apache.org/docs/developers/python.html#building-on-linux-and-macos and then you can run doctest. @AlenkaF For some reason I am not able to build the documentation and it's taking a lot of time to figure it out so if time allows it could you please run the preview-docs command and suggest me the changes to be made?
