# Which issue does this PR close? - Closes https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/issues/7736 # Rationale for this change - after the change in https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/pull/7694 Running `cargo test --workspace` now also runs tests that require python to be setup and the `pyarrow` module to be installed. This is problematic because: 1. Some people may not have that environment setup 2. Apparently you can not use virtualenvs with py03 in Mac # What changes are included in this PR? 1. Move the tests tha # Are there any user-facing changes? If there are user-facing changes then we may require documentation to be updated before approving the PR.
