Yes, this is a cycle I do not know how to handle best: - Deprecated code is still supported code. - Supported code should be tested. - Deprecated code generates warnings. - We want to avoid warnings... The rule would be "silence deprecation warnings coming from libarrow in tests". That is not supported in C++ AFAIK, so I guess we should tweak the `ARROW_DEPRECATED` macros in the build system to be defined as empty during the tests. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
