I agree that the there's no runners on the arrow-rs repository that use the Apache Arrow AWS credits. This has nothing to do with old Ursa/Voltron runners. We use the runs-on app (https://runs-on.com/) to spin up extra non GitHub hosted runners on the apache/arrow repository. This spins instances on AWS. I am unsure how DataFusion does integrate with RunsOn, probably their own app set-up or ASF infra has set something up but I agree this has nothing to do with what I am trying to say here. This specific issue is proposing to add new self-hosted runners using Runs On similar to the following (@sdf-jkl can you confirm this was the proposal?): https://github.com/apache/arrow/blob/5ef3c5200359bc8e2375daf5f989369b0c8c089b/.github/workflows/cpp_extra.yml#L117 If that is the case the app set up on arrow-rs and arrow repositories is the same one and it will spin runners on the AWS account I am pointing at. I am going to use that I am currently at Community over Code Glasgow and several people from ASF infra are here. I'll ask about the different AWS accounts and RunsOn apps. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
