of the build data to a single branch. This will both be easier to navigate / 
not blow up the already many many branches that exist but more importantly, it 
will make analyzing all of that data in the next steps of this project to 
provide information like "when was the last time this failing job passed?" much 
easier. If all of the info for each build was in its own branch you would have 
to checkout / fetch from separate branches to gather that data.
   
   ok, so it's better to add the date to the files and keep the same branch 
   now I'm back to fighting the checks until this passes all the checks
