   But the netty library version remains the same between 1.32 (success), 1.33, 
and 1.34. Why does it complain now?
   
   1.32.x-1.34.x | 4.1.51.Final | 2.0.31.Final

   I observe the same problem in 1.34 but not in 1.32.
   
   Maybe gRPC's compatibility table is different from what grpc-netty-shaded 
contains.
