I spoke a little with @adriangb about this PR today One thing I think that was causing challengees for me was that I was convolving the idea of more carefully controlling IO with the idea of moving works between tasks My plan is to complete @Dandandan 's original vision of moving work around between cores first, and then as a follow on we can move on to more sophisticated IO scheduling -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
