Hi @alamb , sorry to ping. Could you take a look at this PR when you have
time?
This removes the legacy scan field from the proto as you mentioned in
https://github.com/apache/datafusion/pull/23189#discussion_r3554855165, and
I would appreciate any guidance if you think the direction should change.
