On the unsigned small integer safety fallback: Fixed. The claim path now runs core's CometScanTypeChecker over the required and partition schemas before any other gate, so the unsigned-small-int safety fallback, plus the collation and variant checks, apply identically to Delta scans. Regressions: a SMALLINT Delta table declines with the safety check on (answers match Spark) and reads natively with it off. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
