@alamb @sdf-jkl This is great, have been tracking the progress of this PR / variant issue for a while. Where can I find the latest discussions ? I checked datafusion mailing list , couldn't find anything there. Would love to help here. Especially interested in parquet variant reads support for files with mixed columns which are shredded / unshredded across the files.
