I took another look, but I don't think this concern is addressed yet: https://github.com/apache/datafusion/pull/24821#pullrequestreview-5175092469 still happens . As long as that holds, I don't think we can move forward with this approach. Also the reply reads as mostly AI-generated to me. For example, it cites a benchmark result, but which benchmark.
