Rebased onto current Apache main `ac9ae94d057013095fdf1b70e2d4bc5b24a58d90` as `80229f4a05199781cc483ca57fc48278cfe10687`. The conflict resolution retains main's array-set imports and extrema documentation alongside this PR's array_join rules. Validation passed: Spark 4.1 reactor compilation, formatting/style checks, and 13 focused tests across CometArrayExpressionSuite and the array_join SQL fixtures, using a freshly built native library matching the rebased native source.
