Review Comment:
   > Could translation derive `AuthorityHost` from the selected
`client.endpoint` before excluding the inactive MSI setting?

Done in d08d3ed40. When the tenant comes from the endpoint, a client secret
is set and no token file is, the endpoint's origin (`scheme://host[:port]`) is
translated to `AuthorityHost` too, so under `ClientCredsTokenProvider` your
configuration requests `https://auth-proxy.example/<tenant>/oauth2/v2.0/token`.
The tests record the token request through an in-process connector, with a port
variant and the default-authority control. Without a secret, or with a token
file (object_store picks workload identity first), the endpoint is not a token
URL, so that request stays on the default authority rather than sending a
different credential to the endpoint host. Under `ClientCredsTokenProvider` the
endpoint's host also wins over a different `msi.authority`, as in Hadoop, which
never reads that key there. object_store still builds the path as `<authority
host>/<tenant>/oauth2/v2.0/token`, so an endpoint with a different path still
differs from Hadoop in the path; the user guide says so.
