Merged current main (`474b5ece8`) without conflicts or history rewriting. Updated head: `f2c72f2db2cba140c8ad624e4e6de33fa8c429c3`. The original five-file patch is unchanged; this PR remains draft. The existing TPC registration regression passed locally on Spark 4.0.1 / Java 21, including logical-type and schema checks. Python AST and PR-scoped whitespace checks passed. This is Spark-only evidence, not a test against branch-built Comet or a benchmark result. Current-head Comet CI and CodeQL require maintainer approval.
