#6924 asked for the same change, from the profiling in #6911, and is now closed as a duplicate of this one. Its description sketches a design: keep each file's tail as `CountingFileWrite` passes it through, return the footer with the task's output (for example as a third `BINARY` column framed like `written_file_locations`), parse it with `ParquetMetadataConverter`, and keep the ranged read as a fallback for any footer that wasn't captured.
